Ernesto Michahelles, known as Thayaht, and Ruggero Alfredo Michahelles, known as RAM or Micaelles, were eclectic artists, famous in Italy from the 1920's. The two brothers were born in Florence into a cosmopolitan and intellectual family.

They were  among the most important artists of the second period of Italian Futurism, but their fame was mainly due to their unconventional futurist ideas, expressed through an innovative life style.

Amongst the art creations, made by both of them, are the revolutionary overall, universal dress, and the stage sets for AIDA, by Giuseppe Verdi, of 1924
